Pacquiao Did It Again!

Congratulations to the People's Champ Manny Pacquiao for winning against Shane Mosley! Pacman did it again but his coach Freddie Roach's prediction didn't come true that he would knock Mosley on the 9th round. Viewers were almost overjoyed when Manny tried to knocked Mosley down on the 3rd round but the latter was able to regain himself on the count of 8. It may not be Manny's best fight, his reason was his leg cramps, still, he won and got the title. (image source: click the picture)

Pacquiao Wins Again!

As I've said in my previous post that I'll bet on Manny Pacquiao. Now, he's won the fight over the Mexican Margarito. Actually, a lot of people already predicted his winning on this bout and so they were right. Margarito already got weak during the 6th-7th round yet he still finished the fight up to the 12th round. But Paquaio still has a lot of energy and looks unmoved. I guess this man has studied his opponent's move so well that he knew Margarito's weak points. So, congratulations again, Pacman! I wonder when will he ever get tired of this sport? :)

Pacquiao Vs. Margarito

Now, are you ready for Pacquiao-Margarito bout this coming Saturday, November 13, 2010? And who's your bet? I'm in for Pacquiao of course! But everyone has its own candidate so let's just wish ourselves luck ;-) Actually, I'm not that a big fan of boxing but my hubby is. The event will be held at Cowboy Dallas, Texas and I guess people from the Philippines and Mexico will stop for awhile to watch and support their fellowman. Well, since boxing is a sport, I hope supporters will be sports enough to accept victory and most especially, defeat from their bets.

Oh well, let's just wait and see for the result. And I say, Go Pacman!

Tee Time Potty Putter

I remembered my dad who enjoyed a lot of sports and took some of his time to really practice. His last hobby was golfing and told me that this sport made him calm and at ease and gave him no pressure.

Anyway, are you an amateur in playing golf or already a pro? Do you think you need extra practice more? Because there's a way where you can practice it anytime and anywhere in your free time. I knew some guys love to practice putting in their spare time at home and some, during break time at the office. They say this kind of sport make them less bored and helped them relax their minds. Well, good news for you because you can also practice this inside your bathroom. I thought this was silly the first time I've heard about it but after knowing that this was actually done by others, I guess I'm going to bring you this news, too. Some of the guys even mentioned that doing potty putter inside the bathroom make the place less boring. If it were me, I prefer to read the newspaper. But for those of you who prefers otherwise and hoping not to daydream, doing tee potty putter may be recommended for you.

Manny Pacquiao Wins By TKO

I am not much of a sporty person but I am happy to know that Manny Pacquiao won by TKO over Puerto Rican's Miguel Cotto, Saturday night at MGM Garden Arena, Las Vegas. The Filipino fighter, tagged as Mexicutioner, is now the new Welterweight Champion.

As what yahoo sport writer, Kevin Cole, described about the fight: "Pacquiao knocked Cotto down once in the third round and again in the fourth, pummeled him repeatedly and easily lifted the World Boxing Organization welterweight belt from the Puerto Rican with a 12th-round stoppage. The time was 55 seconds into the final round, as referee Kenny Bayless leaped between the fighters to save Cotto a more savage beating and ignominious end".

After the fight, the crowd were asking that Manny's next opponent will be Floyd Mayweather. I wish him luck but as of now, let me just say my congratulations to Manny Pacquiao.

Congratulations Manny Pacquiao!

The Pride of Philippines, Manny "Pacman" Pacquaio, did it again. His fight with Ricky Hatton seem to brought retirement to the 'Hitman', as what most observers said. It only took 2 rounds to make the game over. Below are the excerpts written by Kevin Iole, Yahoo! Sports

LAS VEGAS – Four years ago, in the very same ring where he scored a crushing second-round knockout over an opponent many thought would give him the challenge of his career, Manny Pacquiao lost a decision to Erik Morales. Morales was one of the most entertaining fighters of his time, but never once were “Morales” and “all-time great” ever used together in the same sentence.

In 2005, Pacquiao was a good and exciting but hardly great fighter. After Saturday’s K.O. of Ricky Hatton, though, he stands atop the boxing world, even with the heavily hyped return of Floyd Mayweather Jr., who had been a near-unanimous choice as the world’s top fighter prior to his untimely retirement in June 2008. Mayweather Jr. unretired on Saturday and said he’d fight Juan Manuel Marquez in July, but he’ll have to defeat Pacquiao if he wants to be regarded as the best after Pacquiao decimated Hatton at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Pacquiao knocked Hatton down twice in the first round and then knocked him cold with a crushing left hand that may have been the best punch of his career late in the second round. Hatton fell face first and laid motionless for several minutes as the arena erupted.

If the Pacquiao Era hadn’t started with his decimation of Oscar De La Hoya in December, it began with a straight left that left promoter Bob Arum squealing. Arum has promoted many of the game’s finest fighters, including Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran and Marvin Hagler. Arum was so ebullient after Pacquiao’s devastating victory, he was comparing Pacquiao favorably to Ali.
