Have you seen this portion on Glee? I agree with Santana that this couple is freakin' charming. I've been watching Glee and how I came to like this show. But there are just some scenes that are not suitable for the kids to see. Anyway, about this song, the title is Lucky and it was originally sang by Colbie Calliat and Jason Mraz. It's been a year ago that Taylor Swift was lambasted by Kanye West on the stage at the MTV award. Eversince, West was not forgiven by the fans and other people who watched the show for his arrogance, ignorance and bad manners even though he asked for an apology many times.
In his blog, West said that he has paid his price very well because advertisers closed on him, he had low sales tickets for his concert that he decided to cancel it and he was not able to renew his contract to the company of the product that he endorses. He was indeed a sore loser last year that even Barack Obama (they say) was heard calling him a jackass. Well, I guess he really paid the price the hard way. As for Taylor Swift? Well, she's been enjoying the success of her album, concerts and tours everywhere. She gained a lot of followers (that includes me) and her popularity is unstoppable. She's even seen at the movie and has released new songs, too. So, way to go Taylor!
Taylor Swift also bagged the Best Female Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song for White Horse and Best Country Album for Fearless.
I hope to hear a new album from Taylor Swift soon. What most people liked about the songs of this young singer sans songwriter is that her music is so honest that people can relate with it. So, way to go Taylor and congratulations on your achievements!
Nobody by Wondergirls is a very infectious song. The 4 Korean girls really captured a lot of attention as they performed this song with cute dance moves and steps. I've heard this song few months ago and the beat really made people do the groove. However, due to its popularity, radio station played this song over and over again, and then it got very irritating.
It was almost annoying to listen to this song a hundred times a day! But when I saw my daughter danced to the highest level when she heard this music made me kinda amused.
Well, I guess I've just got to admit that I still like this song, only hoping that the radio jocks will minimize playing this song in one day.
My brothers are good guitar players and so is my husband. Unfortunately, I am not like them. I knew how to strum the guitar though and I can read the chords but I can't play without the chords. I am not good in oido either and I don't know guitar picking and plucking! I so envy them. Well, at least I still know how to play ;-)
My older brother collected albums of some great guitar players like Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai to name a few. I once listened Joe Satriani's Surfing with the Alien album and I so love the tune of Always with Me, Always with You. He was really good! I showed it to my then bf (now my husband) and he liked it that up til now, he kept playing it with his electric guitar!
Anyway, Joseph "Satch" Satriani is an American multi-instrumentalist, known as an instrumental rock guitarist. Early in his career, Satriani worked as a guitar instructor, and some of his former students have achieved fame with their guitar skills e.g. Steve Vai, Kirk Hammett, Charlie Hunter. He is currently the lead guitarist for the supergroup Chickenfoot (source: wikipedia).
