We Don't Need Them!

I'm quite pissed off with our neighboring kids. I know I should not interfere but their being mean to my daughter was too much. I don't want to cause any trouble and the best way I could protect my daughter is not to play with them.

You see, we live in this place of only a year. These kids from our neighbor befriended my child and how happy she was. My child is 7 years old and her sibling is still an infant. So, imagine how ecstatic she was to found a new friend in our neighbor. Sadly, these kids were not so nice to her. If they can't get my daughter's things, they would say that they will not befriend her anymore. Sometimes, I heard them say that my daughter's boring or her way of playing was nonsense. Excuse me, they were at our house and the nerve for them to say that. But still, I tolerated. These kids come to our place if they liked it and if they were inside our house, they were always trying to make our house a mess.

This afternoon, my child who didn't play with friends lately because it was Holy Week, was so eager to play with them. She asked permission from me. I was hesitant but then later agreed. When she called the neighbors if they could play, I've heard it loud and clear when they said "We don't need you!". I was so hurt and so mad to hear those words from those kids. They were so MEAN! I called my daughter right away and told her not to play with them anymore. I was pissed off that I told my daughter never to play with them again and that 'she doesn't need them, too'. What I did might be too much but as a mom, I couldn't bear to hear those words from those naughty, naughty kids. Thank goodness I'm not friends with their families so it's easy for me not to let them get inside our house! I'm so mad that even my child's nanny was also furious with those kids. How I hate bullies because it reminds me of my childhood experiences...Sigh...

Milk

My 7 year old child is growing up so fast and even her feet is getting bigger. For her age, she is sometimes mistaken as a 10 year old girl and her feet is almost 5 in size. However, she's getting thinner, too. She used to be chubby but now she's like me when I was her age ~ skinny. I was wondering if her current milk has to do something about it. She used to drink Enfakid and no matter how expensive it was, we still bought now. But now she's drinking a milk which is cheaper but nutritious because it's also mixed with vegetables. We might let her go back to her old milk and see if she will gain a little weight. But if not, perhaps she just got her structure from me, tall and lanky...

Kate Hudson Pregnant

It seems Hollywood pregnancy is In right now. I've just blogged about Natalie Portman got engaged and pregnant by her Black Swan choreographer and now it's Kate Hudson's turn. I've read online that Kate is pregnant by her rocker boyfriend, Matt Belamy - a front man of the British rock band Muse. They said it wasn't planned but they are both excited and embracing it. It was Kate's 2nd child and 1st time for Belamy. It seems Kate is fond of rockstar, huh? Hudson and Belamy were said to be dating for 9 months and now a stork is coming its way. Well, I would like to extend my congratulations to Goldie Hawn for another grandchild. Kids are a blessing after all ;-)

Teacher Mommy

My preschool daughter's final exam will start on Monday. I'm not that kind of mom who pushes my child to study hard everyday. I only focused on her weak strength and when she's able to get it, I let her relax, enjoy doing her stuff (which is playing) or let her be.

But today, I was thinking that maybe I was too lazy and too lax for her. She might have a poor performance on their final evaluation and I should blame that to her lazy mom :p. So, I decided to review her first all about animals and its classification. I wrote the exam on a piece of paper, have her fill in the blanks and I guess I wrote plenty of items for her to answer. But my daughter called my attention. She said I have not included other animals and she wanted me to give her more exams...and so I did (30 items for 3 papers). Now, I've realized that I gave her too much exams. I guess it would be draining for her for I saw a very tired look on her face already. I must be overdoing it and I hope I have not caused too much agony for her. I will surely let her play and relax for the rest of the remaining day...

New Show For Kids

Do you have kids that keep on asking a lot of questions? Kids are usually curious about their surroundings but admit it, we cannot always give them the exact answers to their questions. Great news is that a great new show will premiere on June 23 entitled, Kids FAQ. In this show, there's Mr. Example and his pal, Rodney, to answer the really crazy, tough questions from the kids.

Kids FAQ are also looking for kids ages 4-9 to ask their toughest questions. Let the kids get their mom or dad to print the permission slip, then send to them a webcam video with the question or email webcam auditions to KIDSFAQ@ME.COM.

If they pick your question and use it on the show, your kid will get a $50 gift card to Toys R Us. They will even send a gift card for the same amount to a kid in need at Saint Judes Children's Hospital. Don't you think that's pretty cool?

You can also visit their site and look for some entertaining games like Hangaroo2, Alphattack, Sandman and Club Penguin that I'm sure your kids will surely love to play. You can also see Mr. Example's blog and view some of their pictures. Check it out now!
