Courtney Cox Had Enough

Couple divorced, couple splitting, 'famous star having an affair' are the famous taglines of some of Hollywood's stars yet this comes in normal for them. However, actors like Courtney Cox and her husband separated not because of those reasons but because Courtney was tired of her hubby's childish ways. I guess it was because he was 7 years her junior but I don't buy that reason. He's already 39 years old for heaven's sake! And now he is being interviewed and he shouted to the world that he tried to seduce Courtney and even wanted to *&^% her but his ex-wife didn't give in. Come on, should he really say that for the whole world to know? If he wants to get back to his wife and be accepted, I guess he should try to keep his mouth shut first. Megan, Is That You?

When you say the name Megan Fox, what comes to my mind is the actress oozing with sex appeal. She was noticed for her role in Transformer 1 until she was known for being one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, even comparing her with Angelina Jolie. She was a hot chick in Transformer 2 and Jennifer's Body.

However, I've noticed a lot of changes in her. She looked different in Transformer 1 compared to T2. I fear that she's one of those celebrities who is so obsessed with surgery that even though they are already beautiful, they are not contented with the way they look. Her latest appearance was during the Golden Globe Awards and I almost did not recognize her. She looks so matured and I think she's done something to her face again. I hope this addiction of hers will be stopped or she might regret it later. She still look lovely but there is something in her that has changed. She's already beautiful and I hope she knows that by heart. She need not prove anything because she almost has everything! I guess it's really hard to be beautiful, huh?

Kate Hudson Pregnant

It seems Hollywood pregnancy is In right now. I've just blogged about Natalie Portman got engaged and pregnant by her Black Swan choreographer and now it's Kate Hudson's turn. I've read online that Kate is pregnant by her rocker boyfriend, Matt Belamy - a front man of the British rock band Muse. They said it wasn't planned but they are both excited and embracing it. It was Kate's 2nd child and 1st time for Belamy. It seems Kate is fond of rockstar, huh? Hudson and Belamy were said to be dating for 9 months and now a stork is coming its way. Well, I would like to extend my congratulations to Goldie Hawn for another grandchild. Kids are a blessing after all ;-)

Natalie Portman is Engaged and Expecting

While some Hollywood couples divorced, some are headed to marriageville. Natalie Portman and and her fiance are currently engaged and report says that the latter is on her family way.

Portman met her future husband, Benjamin Millipied, while filming her movie The Black Swan. He was Portman's ballet dance choreographer in the said movie where they began dating.

Portman's acting was first noticed at the movie, Leon (The Professional) where she was Leon's young protege. Her performance was more noticeable in V for Vendetta, Starwars where she played Queen Amidala, The Other Boleyn Girl and her performance in The Black Swan was predicted to earn an Oscar nod. Portman was one of my favorite actresses in Hollywood. She's a natural and her acting has depthness. She's even tagged as the young Jodie Foster and I so I agree with it. Apart from acting, she's a Harvard graduate. She lie lowed for a while in showbiz to finish her studies and that's what makes her more admirable. I wish Natalie the best in her future endeavor.

Scarlett Reynolds Divorced

When I've learned that Scarlett Johansson got married, I've a feeling she will end up in divorce. That's why it didn't surprise me when I learned that she and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, decided to part ways.

I guess it's just normal for Hollywood stars to always end up their marriages like this. I hope some of them will still value the sacrament of matrimony. Okay, I'm not trying to be righteous or hypocrite here. What I'm trying to say is that I hope they won't rush themselves into getting married only to end up in divorce, especially for Hollywood stars. They have their fame, fortune and career to take of and if they don't give much time to their marriage, then a divorce is likely to happen. Recently, it was also Cristina Aguilera and husband who got separated. I wonder who else is next by next month?

Eva Longoria Divorced Player Hubby

What's not surprising to Hollywood stars these days are when they decided to get married and divorced in a short span of time. Seriously, it's considered a miracle if they survived 10 years as husband and wife. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, who were once tagged as power couple, had their marriage lasted for 11 years and that was already a miracle (Katie Holmes, bite your tongue)! Recently, Eva Longoria's split with hubby Tony Parker was all over the net. I even had a magazine about them when they tied the knot 3 years ago. It was an extravagant affair and everybody seemed happy. But a few months later, I remember a news about Eva's hubby having an affair resurfaced. Eva stood by her man. But what's this news recently that her hubby's actually having an affair of his teammate's wife?! Bah!!! Such a bad ass! And this news was just like normal for everybody. Aren't they embarrassed of that these adulterers doing? I know it takes two to tango but still I pity Eva as she's the abused part in this scenario. After defending and stood by her man, perhaps she finally woke up and got fed up that even though it broke her heart, she must let him go. I hope Eva will have her sweet revenge soon, how's that? ;-)

Controversial Glee GQ Photos

I used to hear people giving positive feedback on Glee Show until I finally gave in and watch the show. I came to love it and I guess I became one of the Gleeks. My 7 year old daughter also watched with me and my husband because she liked music very much. However, as the story progressed, the episode requires adult supervision. Sometimes, I watched ahead to see if it's suitable for kids. Season 2 came and one of the episodes tackles about homosexuality. I've nothing against homos but when they showed 2 female characters making out made me decide not to let my daughter watch the show. I know it's in my power to discuss to my child about sexuality but she's only 7 and it's hard for her to comprehend such thing. So, I guess it's better if I let her watch Dora the Explorer, Animal Planet or any Educational show on TV. Recently, I've just browsed on the internet wherein some Glee members posed a steamy shot for GQ magazine. Now, what's on their mind?! Rachel Berry wearing skimpy panty licking a lollipop? What was she trying to prove? Isn't her popularity not enough for her? I've not seen the rest of the pictures but Quinn and Finn are also on the cover of GQ. Others may have defended that Glee is indeed an adult show and not like high school musical, but the characters they were portraying were high school students! And whether we like it or not, some kids really do watch this show especially those who are musically inclined. So, I can't blame some parents to react because the show aims to reach out to viewers, even giving each show some moral values to the audience and now what have the stars did to their own show?

I might still watch Glee but I will never let my child see this show again. And that's what I call - Parental Guidance! (image source: click the pics)

Whitney Houston Struggles to Sing her Own Song

I used to be a big fan of Whitney Houston. Even with my limited voice range, I tried to imitate her and sing her songs. She was good in popularizing old songs and turned them into top hits. She was also humble and showed love to her mother. Until she got married and stay out of the limelight. I was surprised to hear later that she had problems with drugs and that the culprit was her husband. How could he had abused and used her? Poor Whitney. She used to be such a spirited girl. She was even a member of the choir before but her husband brought doom to her life and career. Now, she's struggling to sing her own songs. Her voice range is not what it used to be anymore. Her soprano won't come out and she always ran out of breath.

I saw her videos and I posted one below. She was struggling and croaked her voice many times and even stopped in between maybe to take a deep breath and get some air. It was reported that a lot were outraged during her concert but some were still concerned about her. But as I've watched her video, I wasn't mad at her. I pity her yet I still love her. I guess what she went through in her married life was terribly awful and now she's trying her best to restore her life and career. It may not be the same anymore but I will always love her and the music she shared to us. I wish she will be given a chance. She was not even notorious like some of the singers-gone-wild these days. She just fell in love and got married to a wrong person. And I'm so glad she finally left her husband. And despite everything, I say that I am still a big fan of hers...

Remembering Corey Haim

I was really surprised to know from a friend that 90's heartthrob Corey Haim died. I've never heard of him for a long time but I went on to search the net about him anyways. According to reports, he died of accidental overdose. However, it was found out that he developed a flu-like symptoms 2 days earlier. His body was sent for an autopsy to confirm the initial finding and result will be made public in a few weeks. He died March 10, 2010 at California.

I tried to recall the movies I've watched where Corey Haim starred. I was very young when I've watched his movie, Lucas, where he starred with Winona Ryder, Charlie Sheen. I think he had a huge crush on somebody older than him and Charlie Sheen was the boyfriend and Winona Ryder was trying to befriend him. Well, I could not vividly recall that movie anymore... He also appeared in The Lost Boys movie and I really love that film! I could never forget the tag-line of that movie - "Sleep all day, party all night". Gosh, I love that vampire show! He also appeared in another film, License to Drive. I've not watch his other movies anymore and not heard of him but he was one good actor. It's just so sad to know that last I've heard of him, he finally rest in peace. If he indeed died of accidental overdose, what a waste! But we can never know when our time is up. Now, I could only offer a prayer for his soul...

We Are The World

I can't help but compare these two videos. Both were done in good taste and with lots of talented artists. However, in my own opinion, Nothing Beats the Original. It was simple but was able to capture and touched the hearts of many people. The new version is good, too, especially that my favorite Celine Dion was included and sang Cyndi Lauper's part. I was also amazed to see the late Michael Jackson in the new version. Although it was obvious that they used the old clip, it was as if MJ was really there! But I don't like in the new video is the rap version. It was way too long and they made it sound like a hip-hop song/dance. But it was a great effort to all the artists involved for giving their time and dedicated this song not only to the Haiti victims but to all victims of calamaties as well. Is Megan Fox's Thumb For Real?

People are fuzzing over Megan Fox's thumb on her Motorola commercial. Honestly, what's the big deal about it? I can hardly even noticed it but people were saying that she's using a body double. I guess this is also the price of having an almost perfect face that whatever flaws in her body is very visible. I'm not a fan of hers but I find her unbelievably beautiful. I have high suspicions, though, that she had her face enhanced (she looked different from Transformer 1 to T. 2). But whatever makes her happy, it's her right, it's her money and whatever she's getting from there, it's her business.. Is It Really the End of Brangelina?

Everywhere in the net today, I've read that the power couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are splitting (or have already splitted). Sad, huh? I don't know if this is a rumor but it seems people are saying that this time, it's real. Frankly, I was not happy when Brad ended his marriage with Aniston and a few months later, went out with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star. But as years went by, I've finally accepted the Brangelina affair and admired their humanitarian work. They even have a foundation and helped a lot of people not just in America but in other countries as well. They are also very hands-on parents to their kids - adopted and biological...

If this rumor is true, then this is sad news. I feel sorry for their kids, too. I hope they will remain friends and parents to their kids. And I hope they will still continue helping others despite the split.

Kanye West Death Hoax

I thought it was true that Kanye West died but it turned out to be a hoax. Whoever made this very nasty joke?! And although I don't like to hear about his death hoax, I still can't forgive him for insulting Taylor Swift when she received her MTV award a month ago. I'm a big fan of Ms. Swift and she deserved to get that award. Mr. West should understand that it was the people/fans who voted for her and the reason why she won.
