Twilight Saga: Eclipse Trailer

Here's the trailer of Eclipse that debuted at Oprah. Eclipse was Stephenie Meyer's 3rd novel of her Twilight book series. I really love this book and I can't wait to see the movie version that will be released in theaters come June 30.

This movie will highlight the truce of the Cullen vampire/Quilete pack with the newborn vampires created by Victoria. The Volturi's are shown in here, too, and I guess with much bigger exposure than the previous movie installment. Plus the love story of Bella and Edward is never missed in here. Okay, just watch the video below and enjoy!

Looking For A Quality School

I was quite busy lately sorting things out and planning on what to do for the next months. I am currently scouting for a good school for my child because I don't want her to be deprived of a good education. Actually, we are surrounded with good schools in our area. There's a school that is just very near to our place. My child will just walk for less than 3 minutes and she'll be there. However, I've heard there are many bullies in there. There's another school that is a 3-minute drive but I was kinda hesitant to enroll her there. I've heard they focused more on sports. They used to have a very high standard before. I don't know what happen now. Another school is a 5-minute drive (if it's not traffic) but I like their standard. I prefer this school however my relatives kept telling me to enroll her to the nearest school.

Now I am pondering and weighing things. As I've said, I don't want my child to be deprived of a good education. And I think I have the last say. I am the mother. And I am after of the quality and safety of my child. So, I guess the last school that I've mentioned is my preferred choice. But who knows, I might change my mind next time. It would have been nice if my child will go to school just near our place...sigh, wish I can decide right now.

Ricky Martin's Promo Video

I was very young when Menudo band was very popular. Ricky Martin already stood out at that time. When he came back to the entertainment world in the 90's as a solo performer, I had a huge crush on him. His songs were great, too. After his Livin' la Vida Loca days, he seem to vanish into thin air. I seldom heard about him until his sexuality was questioned by many. I had suspicions already the mere fact that he was not involved with anybody. But I was on denial. I then learned that he had twin sons via artificial insemination (pls correct me if I'm wrong, thnx!). I thought he was the sexiest daddy but at the back of my mind, I asked why did he opt to have a surrogate mother while he can have someone as his lifetime partner and have plenty of kids? But last month, he finally revealed his true self. Well, we have to respect him and for his decision to finally come out in the open. He's still human and as long as he does not harm anybody, what right do we have to judge him? Anywhere, below is the video I've seen from youtube. It is his promo video on his upcoming world tour. I guess he was trying to give us a message that he was really struggling within himself...and when he finally revealed his real self, it seems to be that he was re-birthing himself..

Earthquake in Qinghai, China

Another earthquake hits China on April 14, 2010 at Qinghai Province. 400 people were reported dead while 10,000 others were injured. The earthquake was 6.9 in magnitude that several buildings collapsed and homes destroyed. It is still fresh from the people's memory what had happened to their neighboring province, Sichuan, about the 2008 earthquake and now, this had happened to them.

Let us all offer a prayer to the victims and the injured and the families that were left behind caused by this calamity...

Midnight Snacks

Wikibook define this as a late meal eaten just before going to bed or after waking up in the middle of the night. Good midnight snacks are high-fat and high-protein foods. Midnight snack foods are usually chosen to serve one person with little preparation effort.

Okay, it's already midnight and I have some cravings to eat something before I go to bed. But instead of a light food, I am thinking of eating 2 slices of pizza. Darn, I should've thought about it earlier. We don't have pizza right now but only junk foods. I guess I will just drink milk and force myself to go to sleep... that's the least thing I can do for now. I'll make sure to stock some foods tomorrow in case I get hungry again at night...

Insurance Benefits

We need to be practical these days that we have to take care not only our future but our family's as well. I've have already purchased a Life Insurance since it is not only me who will benefit this but also my beneficiaries.

My mom was the one who influenced me. In fact, she also got herself and my dad a Funeral Insurance, too. And just a few years after, my dad passed away and I've seen how the insurance helped my mom cope up with the expenses.

There's a site that provides you the benefits that you are looking for. You can ask for a Life Insurance Quotes from them. They even offer some optional benefits which might interest you like Children's insurance, total and permanent disability insurance, accidental and recovery insurance. And they also offer home loan, mortgage broker, credit card, personal loan and financial services, too.

Nights in Rodanthe

I've read Nicolas Sparks's novel Nights in Rodanthe last year. I was hesitant to read at first because the characters were already in their middle-aged years. Another thing, Nicolas Sparks has a trademark in his every (or most) book wherein one of the characters died (remember Message in a Bottle, A Walk in the Clouds? etc...).
I'm also not a sucker for love story but I finished reading the book because I wanted to know how the story will end. Anyway, these 2 middle-aged people found solace to each other, fell in love but knew that they would go on separate ways because they each have a life to fulfill.... The story ended well, with everyone at peace to each other. However, for me, the plot was so simple. Sparks just made the mother and daughter have a restrained relationship just to stretch the story of the book. But overall, it was ok. At least, the book had a happy ending :D

Alvin and the Chipmunks

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Alvin and the Chipmunks. All opinions are 100% mine.

I bet most of you knew Alvin and the Chipmunks. They consist of three singing animated chipmunks namely Alvin, the mischievous troublemaker, Simon, tall and intellectual and Theodore, chubby and impressive. A few years ago, they made an animated film about these three chipmunks and many loved them on the screen that the movie outfit decided to make a sequel. The second installment was titled Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. This time, they have a musical rivalry with the Chipettes, the 3 adorable girl chipmunks. If you haven't seen this movie, then, there's good news as there's an available DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Download where you can buy it now. The show was totally entertaining, child friendly and you will definitely enjoy listening to their songs.

And what is great about their DVD Pack is that it includes The Squeak Along bonus disc which has more music, mayhem and all-new singalongs. Imagine how enjoyable it is if you doubled or even tripled the fun out from this pack!

You can also visit the site at http://www.munkyourself.com and click for More Munk Mayhem which I am pretty sure you and kids will enjoy playing. I've checked this myself and I had fun knowing the characters, munking myself and munk the mic which sounded funny. I was also entertained with their videos and their gallery, too. Try to visit the site at http://www.foxfamilyflicks.com and I assure you you will have lots of fun in there just like me.

Waterproofing Your Basement

Before we transferred to our new place, we made sure to check the areas that needed to be attended so that we will not encounter big problems in the future. We renovated a some areas of the house, repainted the walls, changed roofing, repaired some leaks on the pipes, etc. We have a small basement and we thought of doing something about it to prevent unavoidable circumstances that may arise in the future. We thought that Waterproofing Basement Walls was a good idea. We were thinking that when water attacks our home from excess rainfall, flooding, drainage or other causes, it can damage the physical structure in several ways. Some of the benefits that we can get from a permanent basement waterproofing are protection of concrete, protection against waterlogged soil and protection of block walls.

Try also to see the site that I've visited if ever you want to check on their numerous ways of waterproofing basement walls like the French Drains, Hollow Baseboard Molding, Sump Pumps, Waterproofing and Damp Proofing. Their waterproofing products are also designed to 'prevent' water penetration even under wet conditions such as hydrostatic pressure in the soil after heavy rain. Why don't you try it? I'm pretty sure this would be perfect for your house, too.

Mind Your Own Business!

I'm a bit annoyed right now I can't concentrate on what I'm doing. I hate it when people just called me on the phone just to give irksome comments. Why can't they leave me alone and mind their own business!!! If they're trying to help - thanks but NO THANKS! They are just giving me another headache. I was suppose to rest but disturbed me over some nonsense talk and gave me a kind of lecture like I was totally stupid and a bad person. What was that all about? I hope I won't be seeing their faces for a long time because frankly, I'm not amused! Sorry I am ranting over here again. I won't divulge the details because it makes me mad even more. I'll just express what I feel right now.

N-Viro International

We need a better place to live so let us try to help save our environment. It's a good thing that there's N-Viro International that helps convert waste water sludge and other bio-organic wastes into biomineral agricultural and soil-enrichment products with real market value.

Their technology allows waste water and other bio-organic wastes to be used as opportunity fuels. Instead of dumping these hazardous or toxic wastes directly to the environment, they can be converted into soil friendly solids and be used as an alternative energy. For more information, visit http://www.nviro.com or watch the video below to learn for more.
