Rainy Morning

It's so cold when I woke up this morning because it was raining. Even though I already use my sweater and wool blanket, I still feel cold. I only felt better when I carried my baby who was crying. I guess we both felt warm when I cuddled and hugged her until she finally slept. But I don't want to complain on the weather today. Besides, it's a Sunday! No class and work for my eldest child and hubby. I also remembered that we have a very hot weather last year that I can't stand the heat. So, there's no exact reason for me to whine and complain. It's just a rain and not a storm anyway...

So Hot!

Right now, I wish it will rain hard. The weather's so hot that my head's aching! I want to take a nap but I can't because even the foam in my bed is warm. I've been trying to turn on our aircon but it can't help. I guess we need to upgrade it or buy a new one coz the coolness won't work anymore. Even skin reacted coz I'm having goose bumps not because it's cold but because of the arid environment and my daughter's coughing already. I can't wait for the evening to come. I even wish for a heavy rain to pour just to calm my body. Hope this will be over...

Don't Sweat!

The weather's very hot today. I perspire a lot that I am tempted to take a shower every hour or so. I know I should not complain about it but instead thank God for a very nice sunny weather. It's just that I am always sweaty that I have to keep changing my clothes! I think I need a very cold refreshment or ice cream just to relieve my body but I don't want to add more sugar in my system. I guess I'll just wash my body in a short while just to be relieved of this eeky feeling I felt right now. Times like these, I think a rain will do for me - just for an hour to give me that cool, fresh feeling....

Rainy Friday Afternoon

Was planning to go out this afternoon to buy some stuff that I'll be needing for next week. In fact, I was already set and about to go out when the heavy rain poured. Must wait for a few sec, I thought...

So, I ended up browsing the net, checking my emails and read some blogs until the rain 'calmed' down.

I was set to go out again, bid everyone goodbye in the house and brought my umbrella with me. But few seconds later, heavy rain poured down again. Darn! I would still get wet even with my big umbrella! Don't wanna use the car, too, because it's hard to find a parking space. Besides, the place that I would go to was just 5 blocks away from home.

So, I waited again, browsed the net (again) until the rain subsided...

Finally, I was on my way out and I made sure to bring my jacket. If the rain's gonna pour hard the third time around - it's O-VAH! (I said it out Loud)...

...and indeed it was OVER! I did not open the door yet that it rained again. Gosh, it must be one of my (un)luckiest afternoon.

Now, I am making this blog - and it is still raining very, very hard...

Summer Solstice

Summer is not over yet and we're still experiencing longer days and shorter nights. Meaning, the sun will rise early in the morning and will set very late in the evening. The downside of this will be - I got to be up early in the morning because the rays of the sun is so bright that it bothers my eyes.

Although it rained at times nowadays, still I can feel the humidity of the air. Sometimes, I need to take a shower twice a day (3x to some) because I can't stand myself being sweaty! I guess I've mentioned before that compared to rainy season, I'd rather enjoy the heat of the sun than be stuck inside the house and wait for the sun to shine again.

And I still wanna enjoy the summer heat as my family & I are still planning to go somewhere this weekend. And if ever it's pushed thru, I hope it will not be ruined by a heavy rain.

Summer Time!

Summer's here once again. Although we have a tropical weather for the whole year but summer is hottest season in our country. A lot of people wanted to go the beach or go for the swimming pool to feel the coolness of the water. Some opted to go on malling or stay at home to avoid the heat of the sun.

But if you were to ask me which season I would chose, I will definitely want the heat of the sun rather than having heavy rain where you will get soak or wet when you go out or stranded at some place and laundry won't dry up, too. Anyway, I hope you will have a great time during this season. Have Fun!

When Mother Nature Strikes

It seems mother nature is not so kind to us these days... or maybe she's also having a terrible time. 2009 started with a heavy rain, and some of our neighboring zones were greatly affected by flood. We thought that was it, but the following week another flood came and more worst scenario happened. It rained for several days and until now it has not stopped. Strong winds occur during late at night or early morning, and sometimes, it was eerie to hear. Good thing that most schools suspended their classes as it would endanger the students especially the little ones. Some establishments declared a half-day holiday, too, however, hospital employees need to work to attend to their patients. Anyway, hoping this never-ending rain will finally stopped because it's been days (or a week) that we haven't seen sunshine in our place. But more importantly, I wish there will be no more victims and everyone will be spared this time from any calamity. Dear mother nature, hear us!
